Best Mufflers?

I have a UA6 5AT With a K&N CAI, I am getting the mid-muffler delete before my mufflers, but I need to know what is the best mufflers to get that are very loud with minimal rasp. And what quad tips will fit the stock bumper cutouts.

Does loud equal fast/HP?

I'm looking for loud with as little rasp as possible, and a small power increase and drone is no problem.

Maybe try a chambered muffler instead of straight through? It's not gonna make a power difference unless you increase the pipe size of the whole catback.

No one really sells a universal muffler that fits the TL. You would just have to choose a Magnaflow muffler out of their catalog. Take some dimensions on your car and then look on their website.

Otherwise we make a full quad tipped catback for the TL-S, which can fit the stock bumper if you widen the exhaust cut outs.

Would doing the stock exhaust stage 4 by removing the mid-muffler, and resonator make it much louder? And any power gains?

If you just want loud without rasp, cut off all the mufflers and leave the resonator. My rear mufflers are gone, it's really loud past 3K. The resonator is what prevents/reduces rasp.

No rear mufflers, Dynomax Resonator. It sounds a little raspy cause of the distance and wind but it's not raspy at all when driving.

350, so your setup is, mid-muffler, Dynomax res., straight pipes to the tips, correct?

Yup, and J pipe. I figured leave the small stuff in the middle to kill the rasp but make it louder.

Yeah your setup does sound pretty nice 350. Which dynomax resonator do you have? I would like to hear it in person. Sounds good on video, but as we all know, the video never does the sound justice.

Oh ok, so you have the resonator used in the stage 3 mod. That mid-muffler still in is what is really killing any rasp then.

When I had the j-pipe in, the 24215, no mid-muffler, and stock mufflers, I got some rasp in the 3k range. I switched to the longer resonator and it was gone.

If you do it let me know how it sounds, I was really close to taking off the mid muffler too but my buddy who welded it was like wait a bit and see if you like it how it is. I did just the rear mufflers first and it was very smooth sounding, like stock but just a bit louder. I wanted it a little more aggresive so that's when I went back and swapped the resonator, changed the tone tremendously. I think I'm gonna leave it for now, or wait til I get bored in a few months. Part of me wants to try a different muffler to make it more aggressive, like a Spintech Pro Street.

Yea I deleted my two rear mufflers and I love the deep tone it give off from 1-3 rpm then goes quiet 4-6 rpm. I think you hear it again right when u hit redline for a sec but I'm not sure since from 4-7 rpm I mainly hear my AEM V2 cai kick in. What I want to know how much more louder would it sound if you also deleted the mid-muffler plus the two rear mufflers only???

Swap the resonator to a Dynomax Race Bullet and keep the mid muffler, the resonator will make it sound more aggressive instead of just a little louder.

I currently have a stage 1 exhaust (mid muffler delete) and thinking about cutting off the rear 2 mufflers and weld on tips. I dont want to swap out the stock resonator cuz it will bring the raspy sound I want to stay away from. Not sure when I get it done but its in my plans to get done.

Please make a video of how it sounds if you do plan to delete all 3 mufflers only, I'm curious how it will sounds like.
