Best muffler options?

I have been searching awhile but have still be unable to find anything good on the topic.

I am looking into exhaust modifications particularly mid-muffler and replacing stock resonator along with mufflers (I already will be getting a J-Pipe.)

I really want to replace the stock mufflers but my main issue lies with the appearance. I want to maintain a stock appearance I do NOT want a fart can style with huge round tips such as the greddy exhaust's. The only thing I have seen seen that would fit this is the ATLP exhaust which is expensive but would eliminate the need to remove my resonator and mid muffler correct? It has a nice rounded appearance that is similar to the stock but if possible I want the stock square tips. From what I can see my only option is to have a shop cut off the stock tips and re-weld them. I do not have the tools for that myself.

I also have a base with a-spec rear so s-type quads are out of the question.

I'm looking most of all for a bit for aggressive sound will maintaining stock appearance. I know that a catback will not produce much gains that's what the j-pipe is for.

Any suggestions?

So your saying you want to stay stock pipings but remove stock resonator, mid muffler, and mufflers. You can custom it all to your likings.

Or Depends if you're looking to put $1,000+ for the exhaust. There's a few vendors here that can give you your answer. Interact with them, Phone them, Email them, etc.

I wonder if you could get a true dual exhaust made for that much.

I know the ATLP exhaust is not a true dual setup.

You should be able to go true duals for that price.

I have a custom real true dual on my TL-S and it took around 5 hours to create it. So i'd say with cheap piping it's possible to get a real true dual for 800$ but with high quality 304 sanitair stainless it won't be possible...

I figured as much. I asked a guy at a local shop and he said my best option is to just get an aftermarket catback. My only option is stainless steel due to living in PA. The salt in the winter can be brutal on a car.

It all really depends what you are going for, there is no exact answer; since everyone has there individual and ideal driving conditions, and the fact that any modification plays a roll in the whole set up.

However, I would have to say with everyone else as well, the custom would be the best. If you cannot install it yourself, I would suggest just purchasing what you think is best; rather than an option given to you by the business's retailer which is a lot more restrictive.

Go with ATLP, one of the best exhaust, you will not regret it, but then again I may be biased.

I'm about to put on a jpipe with my mid muffled delete.

How bad is the rasp?
