I would love to see an Intake comparison as was done on Clubrsx.com. Injen won that comparison, however, the tests were conducted back in 2001...times may have changed. I thout I somewhere on the web another comparison test and AEM won...so who knows?

If it means anything to you, most of the people that I personally know from the import scene in Los Angeles, California choose Injen as their brand of intake. I've got the Injen intake on my TL and I absolutely love it. The sound it makes on WOT is so irresistable that I find myself making more and more frequent trips to the gasoline station though.

I've got the Injen RD CAI on my RSX Type S and it's been great! However, I'd like to see more Dyno comparisons for the TL before I make a choice.

I think injen costs more, though I am not sure since I stopped looking for cold air intakes when i got my K&N. I think all cold air intakes will sound the same on the 04/05 TL's so its pretty much whichever one costs less also. I highly doubt there are huge differences, or noticeable differences between intake brands.

If that is the case then the AEM is a better deal I think. I think the AEM is at least $70 bucks cheaper. The difference can go towards your installation cost.

Do you all know if I put the AEM Intake in my 2004 TL - will it void out the warranty??? I read somewhere on these forums that one guy had an intake installed on his TL and everytime he took his car to the dealership - he would put the stock intake on it??? Is that due to that it will void out the warranty or what?

I was wondering about it myself, so I called the service dept. where I bought my 05 TL. They told me that it would only effect the warranty if it directly effected/ caused the problem. So, for example, if you flood the engine w/ water, they would not cover that. Otherwise, they said I would be fine.

I hope that helps, Mark.
