Hey guys I'm still new to the site and I am a new 07 Type S owner I got it around November last year and haven't done a single mod. to it yet. I live in Michigan and this winter made me cringe because I had to put my car through all the salt and crappy snow but spring is here and I'm ready to start. I Have only one question from the community because i know not to just start a thread and ask stupid questions that everyone else does and have you guys just say use search and don't start a thread without looking first. Well Ive looked for along time and haven't found a clear answer. I have to replace my stock brembo rotors because they are toast. I know that performance isnt an issue because our cars are street cars and will never need the performance of crossdrilled or slotted but im just going for looks. If any of you guys have crossdrilled or slotted or both please help my decison making by posting some picks so i can see how it will look. I need to be able to use my stock brembo calipers and money isnt an issue. And if anyone knows if there is a zinc gold look rotors that will fit that would be dope.

Does anybody have a feel for the life expectancy on the 2-piece RB rotors? For a brembo setup, these are the only RB option if I'm not mistaken. These look great and I've heard good thing about them but they are way more than other rotors commonly used. Right now, these are at the top of my list when the time comes, just wondering if it's worth the investment in the end (not basing it on looks).

I'm curious about the same thing. I'm going to find out how much the replacement outer surface part is, if I have the time to. Supposedly you save a bit of money since you don't need the hub portion.
But these rotors should last a really long time. Well at least for me since I don't put a ton of miles on my car, and it's mostly just commute type driving.

Wow, list price on the replacements outer ring, w/ fasteners is 200 bucks each.
RacingBrake has the replacements listed on their site. Might be able to get a better deal through a vendor.
