Do any companies make axle back systems for the 3GTL? I'm not going after performance just strictly looks with a little bit of sound (ricer ) lol. I know the 2GTL has some options but I've never seen anything for the 3G.

none that i know of but you can just find some nice magnaflow mufflers and weld them on there...my $.02

The exhaust is one piece, from cat back, besides one muffler. So there is no way an axle back would work without cutting and welding.

I have seen people with just the axle back portion of the ATLP Quads and custom piping...I think I saw the ATLP axle back for sale on the BM several months back for about $500

Could always do tips, and just cut out the mid muffler and/or replace the resonator for the sound.

I want quad tips but do you really need to change the lip on a stock 06 TL?

You don't HAVE to, but it does tend to look a little weird on the stock bumper IMO. Here is a good thread about the quad tip install, stock bumper is on page 2

Isn't one muffler removeable, but the other is one piece welded in? So in order to remove that one muffler, you would have to cut and weld in a new one correct? I took my old exhaust off, but didnt study it much. I had to cut it in two pieces to fit in my crawl space
