Question ATLP J-Pipe Version 2 Questions

Hey guys, I have a question about the atlp jpipe v2. I am wondering if it changes the sound, and how? Also how much and how does it increase performance? Is it worth the 399.00 from heeltoeauto or can I get a discount. Lastly how easy is it to install, and is there a DIY video?

I just installed my ATLP j-pipe and race-pipe 2 days ago and so far there are not that much change in sound but you'll notice the different in performance and yes it's worth it get it from Heeltoe cuz of good customer service and you can enter acurazinerocks as discount code....it's not hard if you have the right tools and patience....good luck !

Yes it's worth $400.

As for sound, it did make my exhaust sound noticeably deeper and louder. I do have the ATLP catback as well, though.

Alright, now do I need to buy a catalyst converter or a race pipe? All i need to do is jack up the car, unscrew the old j-pipe and screw on the new one right?

So a rv6 v2 pre-cat delete will make it louder and deeper? Also will it increase performance?

yes, but u need to understand u will fail the smog check

and also by being catless, u will get some rasp. so u will need to add a resonator.

it will add alot of performance. mostly on high end hp/tq

so adding a resonator will allow me to pass inspection and take some of the rasp away? Where can I get a resonator, I don't believe I saw one for sale on the rv6 site.

if you go for RV-6 precats delete then you won't pass at all cuz of the smell....addin' a resonator will only help you to get rid of rasp...you can check with Magnaflow..

Or I guess I might get the atlp exhaust for the non type s, the one that looks similar to our stock exhaust, those look sweet and will sound good.
