No I think there is a new J-pipe mike is working on and the difference is primarily going to be on how low it lies I think to get more clearance from the ground and so that people don't have to scrape all the time like they are now. So there is a V2 comming out, don't think it will affect performance much, just form and functionality for day to day driving is being improved on.

yea the v2 should have more ground clearance for those of us that ride slammed. I'd also like to know when it comes out so i can reserve one if need be.

yeah he's working on a new j-pipe to help clearance issues but also i think he's trying to find a way to keep from losing the same performance

Just remember that those gains for the new version of the J-pipe are on a supercharged TL. With no forced induction, gains will probably be more modest.

^^ thats the EXACT design ive been waiting for someone to finally produce. good stuff mike

E-SHIT motorsport acutally made a very simular design years ago, but never bothered to go into full production, which is probably a good thing their procats were shit and poorly welded such as this jpipe

you always know mikes stuff is going to be top notch and i believe this will be the best flowing jpipe yet.

I was about to get the exhaust done, but now I might just wait for the ATLP V2 to come out.

I'm on Comptech springs and i live in a area that gets a good amount of snow. This is my 2nd winter with the j-pipe and no issues yet. My OEM exhaust resonator rubs over speed bumps but the J-pipe doensnt even have a scratch on it. So unless you are slammed the original pipe will be fine.
