Apexi VAFC ?

Hey, I was doing some reading on the APEXI VAFC and it seemed like an interesting idea. First of all I drive a 08 5 speed AUTO(N) TYPE S and the only things I have done perfomance wise are AEM CAI which is installed, and a XLR8 J PIPE, NON RES CATBACK, P2R TBS, and RV6 RACE Pipe all ordered and hopefully here soon. Now I really want to hit 13.8 AtLEAST this year at the track and I dont know what I will hit but hopefully its lower then 14. Now my question is does anybody here have this little tool and use it and is it worth getting? Will tuning with this little device make any difference? If anybody can chip in some information it ill be greatly appreciated. !! As far as im concerned there is no chip for our car so I am guessing this will be its best subsitute?

I have no idea of what this thing does, but don't buy it unless you want to spend alot of money on dyno fees for little if any power. The ECU's on these cars are PITA to mess with. The new exhaust will make the car faster, but drag is not the TL's best even.

^^^ what he said.

i think a fully bolted 5at TL-S guy posted 1/4 times in the "racing and competion" section and it was like a 14.5 at best =\ and if he wasn't fully bolted i know he had everything you had plus some. so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but thats what i've seen so far =[

Here's the real deal.. supposedly:

http://www.dragtimes.com/Acura--TL-Drag-Racing.html

If you want low 14's or even dream of 13's you need get a fast 60' time in the 2.1 - 2.2's.. period.
