dumbest shit ever.

It's nothing more than a variable resistor that alters the ECUs readings of the IAT & o2 sensor. Pretty much its lying to the ECU about certain values and the ECU outputs accordingly to those "false" values.

How the heck are they charging $300 for that!? I wonder if that is their method to sucker people, by making it expensive enough so they think it must be legit, and not the typical "+40 HP for $29.95" ebay stuff.

Regardless, it is pretty much the same thing as the ebay 'performance chips' and will not work.

You're wrong. According to the website:

Unit is not a simple resistor.
It's true. I've seen it, and it's also a LED and a potentiometer! That's right, not a simple resistor, but a variable one! Oh what a time to be alive! Incredibly pricey for what it is though.


Anyway, I imagine this is just changing your AFR by messing up your sensor values. At least it doesn't seem like they claim it's also going to save you fuel, like most eBay gimmicks.
