Someone always has to be the first! If you do it and succeed I think you'll pave the way for a lot of guys here on AZ. If you get into it and decide to go the standalone EMS route (which I think is going to be the best route, but it's technically not going to be a streetable car anymore) let me know... I'll get you in touch with Phil @ Element Tuning who tuned the super exotic engine setup on my old STi. TOP NOTCH tuning... if he can't touch it, I can't think of anyone that could.

In regards to the blown engine, pretty much id turn the car to stock, get in warranty repaired (yes flame on, im a douschebag for suggesting it and then get a 335i lol
if anything, i would talk to the guys at boomslang directly...
Also, Ryan123978 or whatever the numbers are, seemed pretty confident in working on this project a while ago... surely id pay him well for his time, but i still think tuning would be an issue. he is confident on wiring up a piggyback, or harness, and getting the blower to fit

if you guys are looking for a shopp that tunes really well i think you guys shld consider rpm nyc in queens go to there web site....i'm maybe looking into them tunning my car after im done with all my bolt on's..

the type s throttle body... hmmm.. good question... i know the physical size is the same, because its the same P2R spacer.. but not sure if the interior of it is slightly larger... something to be looked into
now, i heard a rumor a while ago.. i think it was from Josh @ Excelerate or Marcus @ MrHeeltoe... the rumor was that comptech had actually hooked up the blower to the Tl-S, but they didnt get "considerable" gains..
Now we all know the gains, are caused by the tuning.. something these guys cant do if their life depended on it ((apparantly))
the reason i ask , is yes, i am thinking about getting the blower, and finding a reputable shop to tune it... its risky, but f* it.. if they mess it up, it'll give me a reason to trade the car in for a 335i
now, there is NO way im going to buy a brand new blower to experiment with, so im gonna keep my eyes open for a used one... i need to sell my rims first to get the capital to do this... so i'll be doing ALOT, ALOT and ALOT more research on fabbing the s/c to the type s
i plan to be a pioneer for us type-s guys... but if i blow my car to shreds.... think of me as a martyr
