Any performance radiators?

Does any one know where I can find performance radiators. I'm setting my car up for a supercharger so I'm trying to reduce heat any way possible. I just oreder a Tranny cooler thermo gaskets n spacers. Does any one have any tipso pointers or opinions?

Wouldn't that be done after the supercharger is put on... I'm trying to precondition the car for the supercharger. And links would be helpful

The TL radiator is dual bypass design, meaning the coolant passes twice thru the radiator making it a very good unit. There is no need for another radiator, as the stock is more than enough for the SC. The only performance reason I have heard of for a person to replace their radiator in the TL is to keep the hose from resting up against something.

Save your $$$ for Methanol injection or other supporting mods.

So there are really no coolant mods I need to keep my engine, drivetrain and blower happy?

You can get it cheaper on other website.

Meth is the best way to do if you have a supercharger. I had mine for few years already. Best mod ever! give you more HP yet cold down the temperature too

granted no SC on my car but even at Road Atlanta in August I've never seen a water temp over 185F on the track. It's a good design and if you do the Ultimate Cooling Mod, the radiator will support all the SC heat you can throw at it. Add a switch to the fan if you really need help sleeping at night.

Meth + LSD right?

But seriously... A better question would be.... "Hey all you with superchargers....will I need a cooling system upgrade if I get one too?"

Only thing to do now is buy the blower, and find a good shop.... I have a feeling the second part is going to be the hardest.

You could wire an auxiliary power switch to the main radiator fan or even the AC fan really, mount it on the dash or center console somewhere and be able to run the fans to draw more air thru the radiator when idling or crawling thru town when the engine isn't getting much for cool air. I've seen idling temps of 210 or so but as soon as the fan kicks in its quickly under 200 after a min or so. Imagine having the ability to run one or both fans continuously at will when not doing 50+ MPH down the highway. Might be nice to have on an sc'd car in the summer.

Regarding wiring the fans to allow manual control, please see Page 5 of The Ultimate Cooling Mod thread (click here to go straight to Page 5) .

The entire page 5 is nearly devoted to this topic.
