Yea the PCDs definitely come with side effects but they give the most power for your car than any other bolt on. Then very similar in power but right behind PCDs is the J-Pipe. Then exhaust, and finally cai.

Thanks, butt I've done my research and also purchased my suspension set up.
I wont EVER regret my set up, either.
As I'm looking for performance over looks and the aspec springs proved to shave off time on a track.

Do they compare the spring/shock combo to any type of coilovers setup in regards to track time?

Anywho.. I'm definitely for performance also. Can't have all show but no go.

VERY LITTLE to NO difference in the sound at all.

the j-pipe mod isn't a mod you do for "sound" it's a mod you do to let your engine breath a bit easier, in doing so you gain some low end tq. i noticed more tq in the 2-3k rpm range after installling my XLR8 j-pipe.

like i said, i noticed very little sound difference at all. i would say there is no sound difference, but i'm sure someone out there will say it has a very very slight deeper growl...

if you want sound, exhaust is the way to go. but than you would be bottle necking your exhaust system so you might as well do j-pipe and your cat / precats..

I'd just get the exhaust first. A little bit better performance plus the car will look and sound better.

Hmm. Depends on your definition of performance.

For best in-cabin heat performance, I would suggest a good window tinting.

For best poser-formance, I would suggest a TL-S badge.

For best fuel economy performance, eBay sells this thing you put in your intake, and it will create a vortex with your incoming air. The flow pattern of this thing is so much more efficient that more air can make it through the throttle body, and it's essentially a low powered turbo-charger. You might have to upgrade your injectors, though.

technically, freeing up exhaust flow can increase MPG, but the power and sound always negates that as the driver will always want to push the skinny pedal

Im looking at heeltoe now, and they have the RV6, and the XLR8. What's the difference between the two? The site isn't very descriptive. Does the RV6 delete the cat?

^yes. the rv6 is the latest and the greatest. debuting in 2010, whereas the others were introduced in 2008.
the rv6 is the 3rd version, which came improvements.
by elongating the primaries, which delete the 3rd cat, the jpipe proves to make more horses than the competitors.
also it has stock like clearance attributes, so it doesnt hang low to the ground

But will that not throw a CEL? And how low are we talking here?
I don't wanna spend 400$ and let it drag on the ground...

^no, the rv6 v3 has the same clearance as stock. it wont touch the ground. it fits nice and stock. STOCK STOCK STOCK STOCK CLEARANCE!
you will not get a CEL because there are no sensors on the 3rd cat.

thank you fir your help!
Are there any other recommendations as to where to purchase one?

i dont know because i dont own a xlr8.
you could probably purchase it from XLR8 at excelerate performance.com

butt, xlr8 is coming out with a new version that mimics rv6 v3. so your best bet would be to purchase the rv6 v3 or wait for the new version of xlr8.
just a heads up.
