Hey guys. So I bought a CAI off ebay, just generic but has a K&N filter. I have a couple general questions for everyone and would love your advice please.

1 - Installation - This thing came with no instructions at all. I have watched the video to remove the bumper and install the CAI and think I can probably wing it from there. Does anyone have a .pdf or similar specific to a 2005 TL that shows detailed installation instructions, I am still nervous about screwing it up.

2 - Water - Once installed, the K&N cone filter will be about a foot or so off the ground. It is just a cone filter, no cover, no nothing. Will I suck up water through this thing and lock up the motor? I realize I don't want to go and drive through a foot of standing water obviously, but heavy rain storms, the car wash, normal puddles, etc. - Will those cause me an issue? Has anyone ever had a motor lock up from a CAI on an Acura TL?

3 - Cover - I saw you can buy a fabric type cover that goes over the cone filter to help it repel water. Is this necessary or do I just roll with the exposed filter?

4 - Cleaning - Once I get the balls to take the bumper off and install this thing, next year or whenever I need to clean the filter, do I have to take the bumper off again to get the filter out?

5 - Opinion/Experience - Do you have a CAI installed? What year is your car and have you had any issues with it?

6 - Final Decision - Should I install this thing or not? Thoughts?
