Alternate vacuum source for PCV

I'm experiencing an elevated throttle that may be related to my pcv system. Haven't tried pinching off the hose to see if that was actually it.

I know I can disconnect it altogether and just shorten the OCI but because Redline is so expensive, I want to try and get as many miles as I can out of each change.

I searched on PCV vacuum source and there seems to be a lot of people using their exhaust system as a source of vacuum to draw out the vapors.

Anyone here have any opinions on doing this?
