Whar new sounds or vibrations are normal after I installed the aem and p2r. I just did the install and want to know what's normal or what I should be concerned with

 

Hmm, new sounds? The engine has a noticeable growl under HEAVY acceleration/high RPMs. Addition of minimal vibrations at idle? I just had the two put on as my only mods so far...

 

engine vibrations are normal, and felt in the steering column / pedals.. the vibra mount should reduce those vibrations

 

I dunno I am getting a slight hiss sound around 3k rpm when I punch the accelerated but its only when the car is moving not when I rev in neutral.

At 4 to 5k rpm I am getting something that sounds like a loose heat shield.

 

You gonna get that "hiss" product of the intake. Umm not sure about the loose heat shield noise though, possibly you didnt tighten everything down enough?

 

You could possibly hear a slight whistle sound from the P2R spacer or the whistle of the air going in through the filter. If you hear a heat shield rattle check your exhaust heat shields; it may just be coincidental or make sure the vibra-mount is mounted properly.

 

ahh i LOVE the whistle. very normal , i had 2 seperate TLs with 2 seperate AEM intakes.. the whistle is like 2500-3500 RPM with the throttle open... i LOVE it.. sounds great, almost like a little turbo spoolin' up
