AEM V2 intake

my intake just broke today so ive been looking into getting a new one...
ive decided to go with the aem v2 intake. my problem is that xlr8 performance has them in different ?shapes? well to me they look different

which one should i buy, im kinda stuck on this

buy the one for your car. It will be the right shape. Its not like you can mix and match shape.

Yes. If its a cold air it will be behind the fog light. You could do a custom cold air intake.

I'd say do Takeda. Big gains for a lot less. I work on a HP/$ notion. If I can get more HP for less money, I go for that part.

No cold air setup is going to give you a lot more HP than a different cold air. They all give you minimal at best gains. I personally wouldn't go with a short ram intake as those just take already hot engine bay air in. If I were to buy an intake I would probably go with the AEM V2.

Wrong. I guess you didn't see the custom 4in cai.

I was going to disagree as well. The type of filter and intake uses could flow better than another. Less turbulent air going into the engine helps power too. But that said my point was also price. CAI do give near equal numbers but Takeda does it for decent savings was my point. Not that one CAI makes 10hp and the other 18hp. I opined nothing to that. I base the value of an intake by horse power per dollar. You get a lot more hp with the money with some brands as compared with another.
