Extremely stoked to see how spade & you will be working with the 5AT in handling the power, seeing as it's limited and out of the RL.

Seriously, best of luck on this one.

Can't wait to see my car in action. Like pass427 mentioned already, the goal is between 400-435ish. Also, as you noticed, I have 19s up front and 20s in the rear with a 3 inch lip. I have the HT-spec type 2 suspension, ATLP exhaust, RV6 jpipe, AEM V2 intake. Jpipe and intake will be removed and sold. Pass427 will be installing the turbo and the standalone ecu amongst other parts and will try to keep the zine updated. Thanks for the comments in advance and hopefully we will see some good numbers.

I think the diameter may be at 2.5 don't know for sure. Isn't stock 2.25? Either way 3" is highly recommended for fi, especially w a build like this.GL

No worries, if I need to change out the exhaust, so be it.

Libert69, what exhaust are you running.

3" exhaust is definitely the way to go. I first ran a 2.5" and going to 3" made a difference.

When it comes down to it. About $6-$8 grand (maybe a little more depending on what you can or cant do yourself).

No Properly setup you will not have a CEL

I'd say $8K will get you started if you do everything yourself.

I'm into it for at least $12K but that includes a clutch, ECU, methanol injection, boost controller, wideband gauge, custom exhaust and about 5 iterations of a turbo filter/intake.

Then there's a need for suspension, wheels and tires.

Then a lift to put in the clutch and suspension.

Then a mac mini - factory nav integration to do constant datalogging and instant access to the ECU.

Probably brakes next....

and on

and on ......

I do throw a CEL but it's a delta response of my primary and secondary o2 sensors. Nothing major and it only occurs randomly. When I have my carputer installed, I'll just reset it with the OT-2. Another thing I forgot to add to the list of things I got.

Hey man. I saw the pic of the white TL. Do you know where I can get a front bumper lip and a rear bumper attachment for my 2007 TL?

Just a quick update, testing for the new standalone ECU was completed for the auto TL-S. The 135 speed restrictor was bypassed. I'll add video sometime tonight or tomorrow. Turbo install is underway. Once turbo is installed, Rodney will dyno and tune the car. Should be completed by the end of the month. We are waiting for trans cooler, AEM wideband controller and a couple gauges. Rodney will post an update sometime over the weekend. Rodney is working overtime to ensure the standalone ECU will work flawlessly with the turbo and that the turbo gains will reach the designated mark. Rodney deserves all the credit.... Thanks Rodney.

But your car doesn't have the RL tranny like the Type-S, does it? You're not also limited to a 135, are you?

The TL-S have the 135MPH Restictor. Rodney bypassed the 135MPH restrictor. Hit had the car upto 155 in 4th Gear. I'll post video in a sec...
