Accord Intake, sell or cut?

So I have this intake http://www.aemintakes.com/search/pro...x?Prod=21-511P that my friend gave me 2 years ago and it's basically been collecting dust. Do you guys think I should cut it and make it into a short ram intake for my TL (would it even work/fit?) or should I just sell it on Ebay or something?

Shouldn't it be a direct fit since it is for a 2004 accord? I know we can use the AEM v2 for a 2003-2006 accord on a TL, don't see why this CAI won't fit directly. Don't qoute me on this, but I think you can install it as a CAI without any cutting involved.

nhb04tl, can you take a pic of how it looks in your engine bay for me please? Cause the regular intake for the TL the piping goes all the way to the right then it goes down but this intakes goes slightly down to the right the minute it attaches to the throttle body so wouldn't it hit the battery? I'm going to give it a try tomorow in my car.

That part number is for a 4-Cyl (2.4L) Accord.

Might be a different part for the V6 that swaps with the TL. ??

When my friend bought the intake 2 years ago, he has a 4 cylinder Accord, he bought the one I have and it wouldn't fit his car. Turns out that it was for the 6 cylinder instead, so then he bought the one for the 4 cylinder and just gave me the old intake for free. I just posted that link because the intake has the same shape as the one I have. Theres 2 bunges an a hole.

So I did a lil bit of researching and yea I dont think it's gonna fit. The intake that accords can swap with TL is the one for the V6 accords which basically goes straight and then going down. The I4 accords throttle body isn't positioned like the V6 therefore it starts to bend a lil right at the throttle body...guess i'll just put it up on craigslist. =/

Sorry to hear. Get an AEM V2. I know people say it is a waste of money and all that other good stuff, but really it is a great mod. Makes the car sound better and butt dyno approved.

Alternatively, you can just take your stock resonator off and run it like that. =]
