Hey guys,

I was wondering if I put a k&n drop in filter in the tl, would it give me the same or close to the throaty sound of an aftermarket cai?

No change whatsoever going to a K&N filter. Like said above if you want sound you have to remove the resonator located behind the drivers side fog lamp.

I get that metallic kinda whistle noise but I have the res delete and K&N drop in. Doesn't bother me too much.
