2008 TL Type S: CAI
Question for 2008 TL type S owners.
Which CAI would you buy or have installed? Why did you choose that brand?
I am asking because I am debating on which brand I should install on mine.
AEM?
Injen?
Any other brands?

I really like the injen cai on the mr technology. People need to know that in this platform, you'll need an Engine Management to really have the intake side shine. With that said, if you really want performance gain, turbo will be the only choice to really haul this chunk of metal without needing the car on a diet as to going all motor.

CAI are cool looking and sounding but your money could be better spent other places. Plus the stock system is pretty free flowing already, its just not loud. I had one, then blew up engine, still had, but have since switched back to stock minus most of the tubing south of the filter box. Still sounds nice but is WAY easier and cheaper to change out the air filter. If you dont already have I would look in to a j-pipe upgrade w or w/o the third cat delete.
Either way, good luck!
