Anyone have any luck getting this year and model tuned? Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah I know, I was hoping someone might know of another tuner that works with it.

 

there is a super old solution using the AEM Fuel/Ignition controller....however, it's not as powerful as a stand alone unit.. as it's a piggy back solution. it can only retard timing. it's also a lot harder to figure out in terms of setting up the hardware as it's not as easy as plugging into the OBDII port... one has to take leads from the ecu and plug it into the AEM FIC...ie; take fuel lead from ecu and plug it into AEM FIC and so forth and so on till you have all the right connections.

 

I'm waiting to hear back from someone right now, that may be able to do it with the powergate 3. Hopefully

 

Interesting! I bought mine because it was 1 owner and will hopefully hold some value, so I'm basically just doing OEM replacements and very gentle appearance upgrades like 2500k fogs and probably some graphite tints. The way the tune changes your power curve does sound awesome but I already have too much power at times LOL

 

no unless you want to pay over 1k not worth until a few years later price will drop later

 

Ok so there's a few options

there's the aem fic like mentioned above but it's made for boosted applications so you can't advance timing so your only gonna have control over fuel.

Gerzybear performance is working on an aem infinity set up but it's not gonna be cheap over 1k just for the ecu

Then there's the gredddy e manage blue with a boomslang harness but I hear you need to buy an emanage ultimate as well to control everything

Then there's the apexi neo but the ecu overwrites that so it's basically useless after a little driving

Theres the mega squirt option but I don't know much about it

I also read on Facebook yesterday that there's a shop in Tennessee or something g they had been able to do a haltech

 

I doubt prices will drop this cars from 2004 and most of the tuning software avail s has been out for atleast like 10 years now it's not like this is a brand new car with new technology Theo rices are what they are.
