'06 TL 6MT comptech SC DYNO!
Lol.you.guys are too funny.. stock pulley, I'm boosting no more than 5 psi. Sc comes off this weekend and I hardly drove my car the time i did have it..I will be more than happy to dyno my car w/o the SC..

Ill talk to jms to see if I can do one pull on the dyno since its not a dyno day if you wanna come this weekend .. I would love for another set of eyes on here to witness. I can careless if I made 280whp I mod my car to my likings and i keep in mind I drive a 4 door LUXURY sedan. I bought the SC for fun not to be a dyno queen. I can also see if.I can get a better deal if you want to dyno your car as well..

^^^ that might explain the high numbers....3rd gear dyno represents numbers closer to crank numbers....4th gear numbers are closer to wheel numbers....
either way 312/267 is not bad at all....you prolly putting down ~290-ish....

Good info. Its a evo shop and I'm sure he simply forgot there were 6 gears lol

At tmax- A fully bolted 6MT TYPE S will nearly make 300WHP. a 6MT base fully bolted should be around 265-280 but considering cost.. Exhaust, Jpipe, Precats, CAI, LW Pulley, labor = over 2000 already... Used charger can be had for a little over 2K. Adding an exhaust and tuning (JR and FIC) and he's looking to spend another 1500 so for a start of a project, i think hes doing good. Too bad he wont finish it....
The range up here is 3-3.5K easily.
I wasn't trying to say there's some wrong with S/C but rather if it wouldn't make sense if it were the only thing he was going to do.
After I get the JnR ECU the only thing left would be to S/C my TL.
I am following your thread very closely to see what kind of results you net as I think your build is going to definitely surprise a lot of people.

Would like to see a dyno of OP car once S/C is removed if possible as the numbers do seem high.
With those gains from JUST the S/C I would try to hold onto that and continue the build from there IF possible.

All runs were in 4th gear....
if you bone stock shows 240hp, dont post it

Lol..apparently to some it was too much. I've looked into the turbo setup but the tl isn't worth all the trouble or money IMO. Once I close on my house ill probably get a 335i. 400whp/450+tq and remain reliable without costing arm and leg is too hard to pass up
Even still I'll pass you up in that 335
VTEC.net has dyno'd a stock 6spd with dyno curve. I'll look for it after I get up. I'm posting this VIA my HTC EVO 4G. The stock 6spd curve is nice. in fact when VTEC.net dyno'd the type-s they were shocked how close the 04-06 6spd was in power (whp).
Swoosh- ill be dynoing with a intake..Idk if that'll change the numbers a whole bunch its a short air with kn.don't have stock
Temperature and humidity have no bearing on the final numbers on a corrected dyno pull. Doesn't matter if it's 40 or 100 degrees, SAE correction (which this one is) adjusts to 77 degrees and 0% humidity regardless of the actual conditions. Uncorrected is a different story.
