'05 TL exhaust?

Hi everyone I have had my TL for almost a year now and it's a real eye catcher but now I want people to hear me coming while also gaining hp. My thoughts on this was I was going to get a rv6 jpipe and then straight pipe it. But I heard that when you straight pipe you can actually loose hp. Is this true??? And depending on how well I like that I was going to save up and get the rv6 true dual exhaust.

I don't think you'll lose power if you straight pipe it. It'll just sound like shit.

Do the RV6 HFC's or PCD's and (I prefer the XLR8) J pipe and see how you like it. Then you can figure out the J pipe back.

I've heard XLR8 and I like it but I just like the rv6 more, I'll do some more research on XLR8. And like like I said the straight pipe would probably just be temp. Until I can afford a full exhaust system. Thank you and what if I end up straight piping would 2.5, 3, or 3.5 piping be better. I had and 89 accord that I straight piped with 2.5 and a thrush glass pack and it sounded amazing.

IMO 99% of Hondas doesn't sound good at all with straight piping them
