04 TL Shocks Advice
The car is riding a little bumpy and am getting four new tires in a few weeks. If I wanted to replace the shocks what do you recommend? I have seen people say OEM but what if I wanted to go with what the type-s has in my 2004 TL? Will they fit? Where to get them?
The tires I will be purchasing are the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 and didn't know if that mattered or not. Thanks for any advice you could throw my way cause I haven't done anything to it in a long time like this other than oil, trans, timing belt etc.

Get the full strut assemblies with new springs from FCS from rockauto, about $48 each.

Type-S performance for a fraction of the price of the OEM replacements. I have them installed for several years now and they're just fine.

Koni Orange STR.T shocks would be my choice for OEM replacements without a drop. Not a fan of the full strut assemblies, would rather re-use the stock springs with fresh shocks.
