^ very true, have twigglis measure how far away the tip is from the bumper opening on his, then measure the one for a comptech then bolt a comptech up to a type s, but I think he is more concerned with getting it dyno'd

I can test fit but I don't have a dyno. I also want the TL-S to go to BB b/c I want them to look at the tip clearance b/c I am going to do a quad tip setup for the TL-S.

I would be interested in the quad tip setup for the TL-S. But I have a base TL. I guess if I opt to do that I would need to replace my A-spec rear lip for the TLS rear lip to fit the quad tips.

Is the price going to be the same for the quad tips?

Another question is how much would it be to have it shipped to Vancouver Canada?

Thanks!!!

Yes I will take some side pics for you.
This is exactly what I needed to hear and I appreciate the side pics. I want an exhaust I can ride with my parents and not feel wierd. I want mean but tasteful. Sofar this exhaust seems to be intriging me by the day. Keep up the good work twigglius!

Hey Excelerate. I know this is a lil advance since we haven't seen the TL-S quads yet but are you planning on doing 3.5 similar to the ATLP or are you going to do the angle design like the factory TL-S...To me the angled design makes the tips look larger than they actually are since they're cut at angles. Either way would be nice though. :-)

I will have to wait for BB to take a look at the car but I'm thinking something similar to the E60 BMW setup:

http://www.bbexhaust.com/car/e60/

Except dual tips for both sides.

Great job. It looks nice and sounds incredible. I agree with CrazyNurse though, I'd love to see square exhaust tips. I got the Ronjon kit and love the way the stock tips look with the kit.

Hmmm by the looks of the side pictures I bet you can get a good welder to saw off the tips of the old exhaust and weld them on to this. I think that's what I'll do, except I'll have to adjust the tips.

That's an idea- but I think it would ruin the look of the BB exhaust. I would rather see twin square or a different style square tip.

I had mentioned to Excelerate to keep the slanted tip look for the type-s but to give it the BBE flare to it. I think the slanted dual tip look makes the exhausts look larger since the tips are cut at angles. Also I think a rolled chrome finish would make these mufflers stand out from any setup I've ever seen. I'm excited to see what they come up with.

He has been able to enjoy the system for a few days now. He can comment on it as well. We are looking for two more test fitters in the Phoenix, AZ area; one 04-08 TL 6 Spd so we can see the gains with a 6 spd (we estimate another 3-4whp) and a 07-08 TL-S so we can check test fitment on the TL-S, hp gains, and we want to offer quad tips on the TL-S setup

Here's a video of the dyno and the car pulling away at WOT:

http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...cura-final.flv

I will post up the dyno once they give it to me in a format I can post. All I have is bad fax copy right now.

These should be ready to ship in about 3-4 weeks. I still have to dyno test and get a video clip of the non-resonated setup on a 6 spd. We will also be making a J-pipe shortly too and a quad tip setup for the TL-S.

The price on this exhaust will be $975 shipped to the lower cont US on the resonated setup (list is $1100) for the AZ members and $950 shipped to the lower cont US on the non-resonated setup (list is $1075). You may send payment to excelerate@sbcglobal.net via Paypal and please specify what you're ordering and for what car.

You've got PM

I just realized that you can't see any of the exhaust piping from the rear of the car - with the GReddy, you see everything, which some people like, but I don't particularly care for it, especially since the piping starts looking kinda nasty once the weather gets to it over time. This seems like a much better job in that respect....

I noticed the same thing when I looked at my car from the rear. It does not dip down nearly as much as the Greddy setup. Still lovin' the exhaust!

Yeah, I wanted to see similar tips like stock. One plus is that the exhaust isn't loud at all. Very nice!

I don't know, call me crazy but... it's not my cup of tea. I like the finish of it, but I'm not to into the tips and I love the way my greddy pipping looks in between the cans. Sooo aggressive, this one is very clean though and I'd love to hear it but it's waaaay to laid back for my taste.

We had this exhaust manufactured and we wanted it to be top notch in quality, clean, throaty, and produce power. That is what the system accomplishes. It is not loud or droney. However, some customers wants more exhaust note so we are producing a second system. Therefore, there are two systems: resonated and non-resonated.

And then there will be 2 systems for the TL-S with quad tips: resonated or non-resonated.
