**ATLP exhaust question!**
So in about 2 weeks I need to make the $200 deposit on the ATLP exhaust to get in on the next batch. According to ATLP they do not know if they will make more for the 3G after this. Was wondering who has it? What you think? and also if you think I should get the J-pipe & racing pipe before or afte the ATLP system? This will be my first major mod & I want to get a CAI before the pipes arrive as well. Comments/feedback/ideas much appreciated...

I would get it but i just got my magnaflow muffler installed today and they sound awesome. almost like the stage3 exhaust but with a louder note and deeper tone. And also it was cheaper than the ATLP exhaust.

Anyways, yes the ATLP exhaust is worth it, but if you're going turbo, the ATLP exhaust will not be good (back pressure).
Secondly, forget about the CAI, save up your money for XLR8 J-pipe/3rd Cat Delete, and RV6 Pre-Cat Deletes. With the whole exhaust system done, you're looking at 40 WHP gained at least.

Except these will show show 0 gains.

Yeah the sales guy from ATLP is telling me to get the J-pipe and race pipe now when I put the deposit down so I can "learn each individuals parts performance rather than throw it all on at once" (?!) I say get it all on at once or get the J-pipe & race pipe after. Any pointers? Whatever happens, gaining 40 WHP & that unique sound will make me very happy!

I was in the market for a new exhaust a few months ago, and never having an after market exhaust, I wasn't sure what I wanted. I didn't want anything crazy loud and raspy, but more of a subtle tone. I was thinking about the Comptech, but couldn't find any. Then about the Tanabe (spelling?), but I thought that wouldn't be loud enough.
I came across a member selling his new base ATLP and jumped on it. Having never heard the exhaust in person, I wasn't sure what to expect, but all the reviews and posts about it being not too loud, made me buy it. All I can say is that it is absolutely perfect. I love the sound and start up, while accelerating, and when cruising. Call me crazy, but the little drone it does produce, I'm in love with. I will sometimes shut off my music just to listen to the exhaust.
Sorry for the long post, but I thought this may help. The gains also from it were very nice. I then installed an XLR8 J-Pipe/test pipe combo and love it. Hope this helps.

I'll post the Michael Yu's email address tomorrow, he's on the ATLP website. I sent him a few emails and they are a tad slow in response but they did send good info once they did respond. I ended up calling the number on the website during office hours to get it finalized.

hey guys, just wondering , how come nobody on this thread has even mentioned about XLR8 catback quad , doesn't anybody like it or something? it looks good!
oh , btw, i got the CAI installed first, it makes the car sound really nice compare to stockie, and then a month later, i installed the j pipe and the test pipe , but no cat back, and guess what , didn't make any difference, i guess it;s because of the bottle neck , so ,,IMO, if i had to do it all over again, i would wait till i have enough money so i could buy everything at the sametime, do it all at once....

Hoola, thats what I said. The guy from ATLP did try to talk me into getting the J-pipe & Race pipe first so I could "learn & experience the individual performance of each component" which does make sense but I think it would be kick ass to suddenly have it all on at once. I may do a CAI before. I talked to a fellow Aziner with XLR8 & he said if he could do it all over again he woulda gone with ATLP. Below is a video & the contact info...
As if you weren't excited enough yet, check out this video: http://www.vimeo.com/3261154
Michael Yu from ATLP sent it. He can be reached at mike@acuratlparts.com or 818-746-6997. They must be really busy or short staffed cause it took me a little bit to get a hold of him.

I listened to the Tsudo CB. It sounds just as good as the others, is stainless steel, and it is cheaper. The tips don't look as good but for half the price of the others, you can put what ever tips you want on there. It is 2.5 pipe to 2.25 split and 4" tips.

I have the ATLP Cat Back, Jpipe and 3rd cat del race pipe for over a year now. I was one of the early setups. Very pleased. Sounds great with out being to loud, (Unless you ask my wife) HP gain a little increase. Those 2 round offset tips looks great. A lot better then that big oval tips. Get them. you will be happy as long as you don't mind spending the $$$

Every review I hear is just like yours...now I just gotta get them here & on! Just emailed ATLP again for estimated delivery date. Yes quite pricey but for the quality & design behind it I personally feel it is the best set-up for the TL. I keep teasing my wife that it will sound all rice like the little Hondas...that way once she hears the low rumble she'll think its ok.

The pic of the V2 are above in an earlier pic I posted, they came straight from Michael Yu of ATLP. Update is he told me this past Friday that they will be ready in 3 to 4 weeks...don't know if they're taking deposits down anymore. As far as Jpipe it does not affect emmissions...the race pipe eliminates the cat, then you will for sure not pass emmissions. ATLP offers a high flow cat for $325 which I also purchase since Illinois has pretty strict emmission standards as well. Hope this helps you guys out. I've swamped Michael Yu with emails to get all this info within the last 2 months, he's done a great job and I'm very anxious to get the system installed asap!

Hey guys is there any news of the ATLP quad V2? I don't wanna miss this train and I been waiting for long time and I want em so badly. Where do I put deposit for this new ATLP?
BTW what is the difference between the resonated version and the non-resonated?
Any reply I appreciate it.
