Question Zune audio adapter and white light

Hello!

I'm a new bee here, and I apologize if I'm doing something wrong here. I have a 2006 Acura TL, and I'm looking for a Zune adapter which allows me to play the Zune in my car. I saw several posts, but they were either confusing or the part mentioned in it is now not available. I wish that the adapter would charge the Zune, and allows me to control the Zune from the steering mount controls. Any suggestions?

I would also like to change the yellow bulbs in the car (inside - dome, courtesy, and back seat light) to a white (LED..?) lights. Any suggestions and help here is also very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

What Zune model do you have? I have a Zune HD 32GB. I have a 2005 TL with navi and I have been looking for pretty much the same solution you are. I've pretty much just seen the Soundgate products that can provide what we are looking for, but as you have mentioned, they seem to have been discontinued. Let me know if you find anything. Thanks.

They work well. Difficult to keep it plugged into the back of the radio. Had to take it back apart. There is no clip on the soundgate. It just sticks in there. Nothing to hold it in. Real PITA when the left side stops playing on XM and Zune because it wiggled out.

I bought a soundgate cheap when Circuit City was going out of buisness. I've been using it for a couple of years now. Works great for me.

Bump, Is there any other adapters that would work that I can use the controls on the steering wheel to control zune HD?

Dude. Really? You bumped a 5 year old thread about a portable player that has been discontinued for 4 years when at its peak had a market share of 9% vs the iPod's 63% and a whopping 62 apps available for download?

No. There are no adapters that will let you plug your Zune in and control it via the steering wheel controls.

Related: it's tough to find a Betamax player now too.

Still curious

I ACTUALLY STILL have my Zune HD in my 2005 TL. :-P audio is fed through a GROM unit Auxiliary line. Not fancy, but it does the job when I get into rural areas and want to listen to my music library. But, I also use the GROM for Bluetooth streaming with my GS4. that one can be controlled through the steering wheel. The Zune, unfortunately, is a dead medium. You will be very lucky to find anyone else still tinkering with it. #respect
