I have 3.60 and I bought it shortly after I got the car.. if there isn't a feature change i'll probably hold off on it.
..unless my neighborhood is now verified in 3.70 and she doesn't say "if possible" after every turn.. then i'll update and someone can have my 3.60 DVD for cheapz!

Yeah I believe that's what the lady said yesterday
It's fun calling them because the sales/requests are handled by Alpine USA; which means based on the 800 number you call into they answer the phone differently.
So you call the acura line and they go..
Thank you for calling .......... acura... navigation dvd help line
Read a little faster and make me believe it please
Anywho; I called and asked if they happened to know whether there were new feature or if it was just a map / POI update.. they don't know. Apparently they only know what's on the website and not anything internal; "the website does not say it yet" (Der; but I figured calling the people that made the damned thing might shed some light!)
It would be nice if they added something new though..

according to the website, some new map changes for various states/counties, and the DST change with the new rules.. I bet that will make some people happy.. Not sure if $150 is worth the DST time change....
Why can't the time get changed via satellite, the time zone is controlled by that automatically if you travel across country... hmmmm

So the update is finally available, but they are gonna make me wait till December, because I can't miss out on the sale.
Something tells me they didn't make enough disks, so they cooked up a sale to get most people to wait until they have enough to meet the demand.
As far as new features go, I believe those are a thing of the past for our Nav version, other than essential things like DST. They aren't going to keep adding features to an older car model (yes, we have an older model now... doesn't that suck!).

The update for 07-08 TLs is available to dealers, end users/customers will not be able to purchase it until early 2008.
"orange" nav owners can purchase the discs now.
They added Unincorpated Yuba County to the map; I live in a new subdivision that is semi-on the map but it's all unverified so every direction ends with "if possible"

Guesstimator: Correct. 3.70 will be out in early 2008 at which point you'll feel old and outated (in regards to nav hehe)
Hsedsie: My only thought is that you're leaving the main freeway; for example lets say i'm driving on I-5 North, in 1 mile the two lanes on the right branch off to the right, but they are the ones that continue I-5 North. The left two lanes turn into another freeway. Technically you are "exiting" that freeway; though the keep left thing would be more appropriate.. (just a thought..)

The 2008 update for 04-06 TL's (using orange nav discs) is out; the 2008 update for 07-08 TL's (using the white nav discs) is NOT available yet.
Per the website:
The fall 4.62 DVD release is currently available to dealers for 2008 vehicles only. A release for customer vehicles will be available early next year.

I stated the wrong version above in regards to Guesstimators post; I said 3.7 but he's on the 4.x discs.

Probably not. I have an 07 TLs that came with version 4.55a, but I bought version 4.62 a few weeks ago.
