XM vs. Sirius
XM vs. Sirius
Does anyone know (or has anyone actually done this?) if you can swap out the XM option for Sirius? Easy/Difficult, Cheap/Expensive, etc.???
I'm getting my '05 TL w/Navi next month and although I've never used satellite radio before, I'm wondering if Sirius isn't better.

Sirius vs XM
One can argue all day about the merits of the music, Sirius has NPR, BBC, Weather for most major cities, and the entire NFL.
I am a bluegrass musician, and I also prefer the Sirius channel to XM for that, but
again, that is purely subjective. Please don't make me drive withou my NPR though.
I'm gonna make it happen in my '05 somehow, and somehow attractively.

It's been done & if you do a search on here you'll find a couple of people who have done it.
It is difficult, expensive, & will likely look like junk from what I saw posted. New receiver, new antenna, another entry from the roof into the car & separate display/control from the TL in one that I saw described.
