XM to Sirius...

I tried to search, but it appears it is broken.

What would it take to swap out the XM unit for a Sirius one? I want to use Sirius instead of XM and have it play through the stock headunit like the XM does currently.

It is possible?

Huh? Do you mean can you switch the XM receiver out for a sirius version? If so I would say no. The XM control unit is made specifically for the tl.

There are two modules that you would need to use. the modules are:

HONSC1: Honda/Acura XM-to-Sirius Adapter
SiriusConnect Universal Vehicle Tuner SC-C1

So if I buy both of those that is all, if so that is cool. Is there not a way to reuse the stock XM antenna? I really would rather do that than run the Sirius antenna. If not can the antenna be mounted on the back deck or something like that?

Found out how to use the stock antenna. TSS want $90.00 for that adaptor, that is just crazy, might just forget about it.

Anyone have a link to a thread, or can tell me where the large XM box is?

What could you possible need from Sirius that isn't available from XM? All the premium stations are available for a fee. This request is nothing but silly.

Why would I want to pay $17.00 per month when the only reason I want Sirius is Howard and Bubba?

I have a Stiletto 2 that has a lifetime subscription I bought off of CL for $75 so I really need to swap over.

I just went out to the garage and spliced into the factory XM antenna harness and connected it to the cable I cut from my home dock and ran it to inside the center console it and it picks up great!

No I have to figure out what to do about power and something to hold the Stiletto.

If you wanna keep it hidden in your console you can t off from the acc power socket wiring. White with red/white wire if I am not mistaken. That will give you power when you want it. You can use the black wire for the ground too.

I just ordered a car charger for my Stiletto and I am going to hard wire it in under the console and run the wire in the same holes and the antenna wire. No I have to figure a way to input it into the radio with out using the tape adapter.
