XM "Died"
XM "Died"
I have a 2008 TL NAVI 5AT with about 30,000 miles on it.
Still under warranty, but my selling / local dealer is on my !@#$ list and I won't deal with them any longer. The next closest dealers are quite a ways away, so I'm hoping I'll get some insight here instead of dealing with them.
I have a iSimple iPod adapter in my car, which connects through the XM. Everything has been fine until today, when the XM radio just basically "went away". If I pull up the audio display on the NAVI screen, there's no "XM1" or "XM2" tab, and pressing the XM/AUX button won't change away from AUX.
Additionally, I put the system in diag mode and got a "NG" reading for the Audio leg of the XM ECU.
Am I looking at a loose connection somewhere, or is there a bigger problem that only the dealer can fix?
The last time they worked on my car, they left my HFL disconnected and put the system into fail mode. That required another trip back so they could reconnect and reset the thing. I'm not entirely certain that this isn't also the result of something stupid they've done.

So far, so good.
I'm interested in knowing if anyone else has had any sort of similar issues... I'm getting rid of the car and am wondering if I should take this out and transfer it to my wife's Honda van, or if it just isn't worth the hassle.
