It wired to my starter lol and I just got off the phone with the manufacturer and they told me the device is has been installed but never activated , strange ... So I need to back track to get some info on this thing. They told me its used by dealerships/ finance companies to ensure that payments are made on time, if not then they can send a signal letting the driver know its past due n to make a payment. Or the car will be disabled and location will ne known for repo WOW !!! Haha

Yup, Its a GPS tracker with starter disable. I install these for a living. Most of my clients are either financial institutions or buy here pay here dealerships. They are usually used by finance companies or dealerships that offer loans to people with bad credit.
I actually have one on my vehicle but w/o the starter disable. My company offers employees the option to have them just in case our vehicles are stolen.

Its not something you can activate on your own. You would need to find out who the company is that maintains that units account. The units are GPS and cellular which means just like a cell phone you would have to pay for a airtime plan.
Best way to find out who's account it belongs to is by calling the manufacturer of the unit and see if they will tell who's account it belongs to. Looking at Imetrik's website it looks like they may manufacture and maintain there own accounts.
