I don't know everyone's phone number by heart.

Anyway to get MID to show name of who is calling? Doubt it since you only record a name with each number, not input any characters.

 

Cell phones and wireless networks are not able to display the calling party name. When you see the calling party name on your phone, the device is doing a look-up in the phonebook and matching it against the number it receives from caller ID. Then the phone displays the name on the screen and, usually, the number as well.

Since all that's coming to the HFL system is the caller ID (the number, not the name!) all we see is the number. There's no text phone book in the HFL system to do a match against.

It would be a really, REALLY nice feature though, wouldn't it?
