I bought all the materials needed to transfer my battery to my trunk. However, I can’t seem to find a place to wire the positive cable through to the cabin. Would I be able to drill a hole through this exposed square of metal under my dash?

 

Why do you want to relocate the battery?

 

space for boosting or maybe just weight balance? There should be a pathway where the car is set up for right hand drive scenarios. You just need to look. I think it was where the clutch pedal would pass thru in a RH drive location.
There is definitely a thread in this section where people have pointed out the path, I just do not remember where.
