I think you can. It appears as though each board is defined as a player. So I would think there would be at least two allowed if you are using their code.

Im currently using their code out of the box. I tried to connect only the MAP/Guide Button but my MacBookPro didnt recognize the device... Im turning around here and it's really frustrating at this point. I'm only missing those buttons to complete my install and seems like I don't have enough electrnical knowledge to accomplish this ....

I tried connecting wire 7-8 (yellow - pink)
one with the ground and one with the yellow from Group J4 (which represente Grp 1 switch 1) and no luck ....

I would appreciate if you guys could show me how to connect the buttons with the miniPac, I'll post some pics later to show you what I tried !

Thanks !

You've gotten all of the buttons except for the MAP/Guide to be recognized?

Nop I'm simply trying to hook up the MAP/Guide button just for testing...and its not working...

Maybe I do something wrong here...do all the buttons needs to be connected so that only 1 button works ?

It will be more explicit when I post the picture of my attempt!

Hope this helps.

Pin 1 light blue - Switch 6,8,D,L
Pin 2 brown - NONE
Pin 3 red - NONE
Pin 4 dark blue - Switch 5,7,U,L
Pin 5 black - Switch 2,3,R,U
Pin 6 grey - NONE
Pin 7 yellow - Switch 1,4,R,D
Pin 8 pink - Switch 1,2,5,6
Pin 9 dark green - Switch 3,4,7,8

1- MAP/Guide = Wire 7-8 | yellow / pink

2- Menu = wire 8 - 5 | pink / black

3- Setup = 9 - 5 | dark green / black

4- Info = Wire 7-9 | yellow / dark green

5- Zoom(up) = wire 4-8 | dark blue / pink

6- Zoom(down) = wire 1-8 | light blue / pink

7- Cancel = wire 4-9 | dark blue / dark green

8- Audio = wire 1-9 | light blue / dark green

9- Stick Up = wire 4-5 | dark blue / black

10- Stick Down = wire 1-7 | light blue / yellow

11- Stick Left = wire 1-4 | light blue / dark blue

12- Stick Right = wire 5-7 | black / yellow
Ok this is exactly what I was looking for. Now where I'm getting confused is how the buttons actually work when they are pressed. Like what is the circuit doing?

Ex. When you press the audio button, is the button closing the circuit between wire 1 (light blue) and wire 9 (dark green)? And if so what would be the electrical difference between Audio = wire 1-9 and Cancel = wire 4-9

I really appreciate any help I can get. This information will allow me to setup a CarPc Joycon Exr that I will use to control my in dash Nexus 7

be careful about touching any connections with power on. or battery connected. TL's are sensitive back there on the navi. haha
