I remember there were several threads here discussing and recommending window tinting shops in the SF bay area as well as people posting pictures of their tinted cars, I can't seem to find any posting anymore in the search area, can anyone recommend some shops in the area? Preferrably in or around Fremont.

i got a whole bunch of cars done in downtown oakland.

shops called window tinting plus. they do a pretty good job with warranty. i got my whole car done for $200 (this was almost 2 years ago) i think its cheaper now adays though.

You guys have problems with 35% tint? I got 20% all around and wasn't bothered for a long time. After I got my rims and dropped I kept getting 'tagged' by the cops. I had to take off the front tint which sucks. If I went 35% in front and 20% in back, would the contrast be enough make them think I'm NOT tinted in front? Oh and I've heard of Omega Tintworks? I think? It's in Pleasanton... 400+ but apparently he's the BOMB. A guy named Vincent I believe.

I have 35 front 20 back/rear and haven't had a problem in LA or the bay for about 5 years. Recently, however, I have had some more friends fix-it-ticketed for tints, so I'm not sure if they're cracking down now.
