Will this really work???

Ok so my little brother and i was talking about the parts that im gonna need for most of the stereo mods we were gonna instal in my TL 3G,and he was looking thru ebay and found this item:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-0...ht_2252wt_1165

The most important part is that its a MP3 radio.

Ive been looking thru the forums for any details about this but havent found any details about it......just really want to know if this is legit

Far from! A member tried it and spent countless hours trying to figure it out! The link is a 2007-2008 Radio which has different connectors! The only way to get it working if you have a non-navi is to rewire the center stack with the 2007 plugs and as well get the 2007 non-navi display. If you have the navi, then you are going to have to swap a whole lot more parts.

If you read that thread, you'll see Martin did the initial install of the whole navi system, the OP didn't. He has the factory system. Martin could have just swapped the harnesses and put in the new components (navi drive, screen, radio, etc) and been done. The poster in that thread really didn't specify about what was done.
