06 Acura TL

my CD player wont play CD's anymore. i have a big sound system thats wired off my factory amp and ipod plug.

my ipod piece plug works, the am fm works, when i try to go to disc its shuts off all the sound and the radio freeze's. i called the dealer to price out the radio, its 1336. im scared to bring it in for warrantee. what do u guys think?

I dunno...I would probably return it to stock before taking it to the dealer and pin it on them...hopefully there would be no signs of anything that may void the warranty.

i think im just gona take my chances..i would have to tear my car apart to do that. i might just take out the I pod peice

I'm guessing they will blame your aftermarket stuff for the problem. I would too. Not saying it's right but if it's not stock then they have something to blame it on.

I would yank/hide whatever's not stock and then bring it in.

I think they would blame your system for the cd malfunction as well. It sucks but the dealer finds anyway to get you and most of the time they do get you. Good luck and let us know what the exact problem is and if they cover you...
