if i were to get a box with the dimentions 28-1/2"W x 15-1/8"H x 17-3/8"D will it fit in the trunk and how much room will i be left with
i searched to find the trunks dimentions but came up empty any ideas

 

Unfortuantely most sites provide only the cubic ft capacity of the trunk. Have you tried picking up a measuring tape and taking some raw measurments of the trunk? Of course you will have to take into account any structures that may protrude into the trunk space as this will affect the usable area since you a trying to fit a box. In addition, although the box may fit in that space, you still have to get the box in the trunk which may prove to be impossible given the size of the actual trunk opening vs the dimensions of the box.

its a sub box question which is why i thought it would be best placed here and since i dont think i would measure it accuratly i thought it would be better to just ask vs. buying the subs and such wait the month its going to take for me to get it and then oh crap it dont fit i thought i measured it right

 

It'll fit. I have a 32"x18"x16" (roughly) and I can walk it in the trunk end by end. But, mine is 18" deep and the subs face forward. There is enough room behind the box for like 1 small golf bag. More like 6 milk containers will slip in behind the box, with no room to jiggle around. I need space sometimes, so they go in and out accordingly.
