Exclamation Where Do I plug in Dom's harness????

So I'm installing dom's unit right now and I ran into a problem. I know you are suppose to unplug the black 20 pin connector on the right and plug it into the harness that came along with the unit. I dont have anything plugged into that spot, its just open.

Do i still plug dom's harness into that spot and just not plug anything into the other end of dom's harness?

Or do i remove the 20 pin connector on the left, plug that into the harness, then plug that into the left side?

Pictures say a thousand words:

there is nothing for me to unplug on the right side where the arrow is point. So how should i proceed?
