Which ipod do u have?. i have the 1st gen ipod nano just for my car, and i can control songs thru the ipod, and what darksom1 said, just set the ipod on shuffle songs, and then control thru the steering wheel =)

yo darksom what ipod do u have? is that the 3rd gen ipod nano? if so, how did u manage to get it to work like that? if trhats the nano can u explain a little clearer how you got it to work liek that? becuase when i hook up my 3rd gen, it locks the ipod and i can't control thru the nano. It happened a couple times when my ipod dies and it says " detached " on the navi, and when i reconnect, theres no display on the screen, but i can control thru the nano.
