3.30G. Released about 2 weeks ago, June 4, I believe.

 

If I was to order a new '04 TL in the next month, would it come with the latest version? Or, would I have to order the upgrade? Thanks!

 

The New TLs will/should have the new one. Thats what I heard from my salesperson, but you should know they are not to be trusted under all circumstances. In any case, I got my TL just a little bit before the release and the way I got mine was this. Acura kept calling me every week for about 2 months to make sure everything was okay. I said "Yes, I am very satisfied" every time until the newest Navi came out. They said to bring in the car so they can install it for me or something. It took about 30 minutes, I have no idea why, but when I turned on the new Navi, the screen flashed something it never did before (which I suppose is the indication) for about 5 seconds which I was unfortunate enough to not catch. But the disc is new.

 

The new disc has no new mapping over the 3.30F just some other changes. I would wait for the upgraded maps. That disc should be released in the fall. There is more info at www.acuranavi.com

 

I think there was a discussion about the merits of that site. While it is an "offical" acura site for navigation (it is recommended under your owners link when you go on acura.com) it is not a SECURE site. So I wouldnt just throw my credit card numbers on there just yet and go to a dealership to see if they can do something for you. Dont trust any website that you are buying stuff from does not have that little lock icon on the bottom right of your page.
