navi update

How is the navi updated and does acura charge for updates

yes Acura does charge for updates. You have to buy a DVD Navi disc. I believe its $100-$150.00

the updates will cost $180 from acura.

How often does the update come out?
Do we just change the disk in our trunk?

You just change the dvd disc in the trunk.

I had my 2000 TL NAV with the same DVD for 3 years! - never saw an update until recently - I don't have the car anymore...

Hopefully updates will be more frequent and worth it.
I don't want to pay $180 just to get new streets in another state I don't visit....
