81- bpm. good dance music mix.
8- 80s. always a fan.
9- 90s. a good mix.
150- xm comedy. nothing like listening to 'diceman' in bumper to bumper traffic.
151- laugh(?). family-friendly comedy (no diceman here)
152- extreme xm. monsters of the morning from 6-11, jim philips from 4-7, then phil hendrie.
love my xm.

XM-1: 214 (DC traffic), 7 (70s), 8 (80s), 40 (Deep Tracks), 46 (Top Tracks), 131 (BBC)
XM-2: 140 (ESPN), 141 (ESPNews), 150 (Comedy), 130 (MSNBC), 175 (MLB Home Plate); the other preset is vacant.
Not sure why I have both 140 and 141 on there, but I'm too lazy to do anything about it.

I never bothered to set up XM-2, so my XM-1 lineup is...
1: 11 - America
2: 45 - XM Cafe
3: 50 - The Loft
4: 54 - Lucy
5: 75 - Hear Music
6: 82 - The System
Each one puts me within a couple of clicks to other channels I like in the various categories. I verbally ask for channels 70 (Real Jazz), 94 (Caliente), and 150 (XM Comedy) when I can't find anything on the other preset channels.

I like all kinds of music and other talk stations like comedy.
So what I do is pick one favorite station in each of my favorite categories then change my radio to "Category" rather then "Channel". This way all I do is go to my favorite categories and use the radio tuner nob on the dash to change to other stations within that same Category or genre.
For example... I like dance music... so I dedicate one preset to channel 81, my favorite dance station. Now if I want to listen to dance I use the preset changer on my steering wheel to go to 81... then if I want to check other "Dance" stations I use the knob on the dash to change to the other stations with the Dance genre because the radio is set to category not channel I only get Dance stations when turning the knob.
I like this because you only have 12 presets... but this way I can set up 12 stations in my favorite category then check out others if my favorite is not playing a song I like.
I have 08, 22, 48, 66, 71, 77, 81, 121, 141, 115 (got kids) heh, 150, and 224

XM1:7, 20, 22 40, 46, 50
XM2: various news channels
I use voice commands to hit others such as 71, 113, 150. I think that they skimped a bit by having only 6 presets per band ...8 or more would have made more sense considering the variety of XM. Still, once you get used to the lineup, the voice commands certainly help.
