I want to put my red top Optima in my trunk. I am going to wire it up in parrellel with the stock battery.

What Size wire should I run from the stock battery to the Optima in the trunk? All the wire that I am going to run from the optima to my amps are 0 guage. I'm hoping I don't have to run that thick of wire all the way back to the trunk.

What size should I use?

 

Use the same size that the factory used. I think its 4 gauge at least. If your gonna use 0 gauge from optima back, might as well use 0 gauge from battery to battery
