What to do...

I've got 2 cell phones a Motorola Razr V3 and a Razr V3i which I'm trying to pair with my 04 TL. I've read through the owners manual (short and long version) a number of times but still no luck with pairing the cells to the HFL. Maybe I'm missing something simple here... I don't have navi (didn't think it was required) and my steering wheel does have the cell phone controls as indicated in the owners manual. Is my Canadian TL lacking some functionality and\or parts require to make this work.

Check thread below, which contains posts towards the bottom regarding "look for devices" mode instead of "find me" mode for setup of the Razr, at least for T-mobile's Razr.

FYI, another thread here mentioned problems with the Razr phone on Rogers network in Canada not pairing. Do a search to find that thread if you are in on Rogers network.
Hope you solve the problem.

Thumbs down

So I call Acura Customer Service which didn't get me too far except them telling me to call the dealer. I call the dealer and get a technician on the phone who tells me that 2004 TLs without navi didn't include bluetooth... Is this true?

No.. All 2004+ Acura TLs include bluetooth, navi or not, american or not. But give what Will Y said a try. I was initially confused by this as well.

I tried "Look for Devices" and "Find me" both will not connect or find my phone. So, I called HFL Help Line after a qucik discussion we determined the hands free buttons on the left side of my steering wheel are not there??? I'm going to call Acura Customer Service to figure out why they are missing or never installed.

So I called Acura Customer Service and the rep did a specification check on the 04 TL models. She said there were 4 models built in 2004 a 5spd auto, a 5spd auto with navi, a 6spd manual, and a 6spd manual with navi and only the navi models included the HFL (bluetooth). I guess I got screwed...
