That a crazy nice system Cadillac has. The heads up digital tach and speedo screen is sick. Custom fit and hardwire a tablet in the oem nav screen spot. iPad would be too huge. Or just get a CTS-V lol!

just rumors, but if it comes out. It would be a perfect fit. And a sweet opportunity for some custom work. And with the Siri feature now confirmed to work via Bluetooth with the HFL it would be awesome. And pretty similar to the deck features of the Cadillac.

Wow. That is really cool. And sort of a bad idea. I don't want more integrated products. I want a dumb screen interface that will let me bring my own UI and apps. I want a touch screen monitor out for my smartphone essentially. Trouble with this is it will look outdated in just a couple years. That's half the reason I didn't get Nav in my TL. It looks outdated by everything. I wonder what it'll cost?

 

They sell a screen output kit for to interface the iphone on a monitor. Its only going to look outdated when compared to the best of the best it will be much more then 2 years before that thing looks dated. Most car systems when they come out seem dated to me actually. I think some auto manufactures are finally starting to utilize current technology in there designs. I mean seriously the TL navi uses the same video signal as the arcade monitors!! I still would never trade it for a non navi!! I will soon have at least the functionality I want with the carPC maybe not the crisp graphics though.

Not that big a deal really I've only driven my TL like 12 times this year!!! Maybe if I could stop taking it about to work on projects! I think I need my DD to break down so I'm forced to swap over permanently. Too bad its an Acura legend with 215,000 its just getting started lol.
