I was using the HF buttons and placed a call. Everything was fine. I went to hang up by pressing the hang up button on the wheel and nothing happened. It might have been at the same time when I noticed that the bulb died for the hang up button. So now I was unable to do anything. On the dash it showed "In use" b/c it still though I was on the call b/c I couldn't end the call. I couldn't use the Nav screen b/c it kept showed the picture of what buttons to use to accept and end a call. Couldn't go to xm radio or anything.

The button would not respond to my finger pressing it! I shut the car off then restarted it. Still showed in use and wouldn't do anything. We then went shopping so after the car was off for 20 minutes or so I guess it reset itself. It works now but the button isn't lit up anymore.

Has anyone had that happen to them?

 

That happened to me and the only way I was able to use the radio, was to unhook the battery for a few minutes. It was from a faulty HFL. I had the HFL replaced with the updated version at the dealer and it hasn't happened since.

Went for a drive tonight and it all worked and the stupid thing was even lit up!
