well i just finished burning a new dvd-a mix and i go out to the car to test it out so i eject discs 1-3 which were all dvd-a (home made) put the new one in for disc 1 and 2 of the others for discs 2 and 3 i select the first disc it tries to read for about 3 min then flashes disc err I think crap now I have to make another disc then i select disc 2 same disc err flash then i pick disc 3 same thing WTF? i turn the radio off and on, ensure discs are clean and swap out other homemade dvd-a discs and nothing. I pick disc 4 a cd and it plays along with what was in 5 and 6. I go to the store 2 min drive (yes i know i could have walked im lazy) come back play around some more turning things on and off then all of a sudden they start playing. like the tl "forgot" about dvd-a for a while has this happened to anyone? I thought it was crazy.

 

Hasn't ever happened to me, and I use homemade DVD-A's all the time.

 

I have seen that before too. I have made somewhere in the range of 100-150 for use in a 05 TL and now 07, but never had that problem in 05, but in 07, i can put in a disk, it says disc error then i try it again and it works..weird... I use wavelab 5.01 to burn

 

That happened to me once.

The only thing I haven't figured out is after I make a disc and put the songs into different groups I don't know how to access different groups with the TL

 

you have to press rpt and scan buttons at the same time

 

did you test the disk in a PC before putting it in the TL?

 

happens to me sometimes, especially with burned CD's, havent made a DVDA yet.

It was a matter of the sensor being dirty. Used a CD Lens cleaner kit, and no more problems as of yet.
