You can get it through Motorola or Verizon, but I got mine at Buy.Com for $29 w/ USB as opposed to somewhere in the $50 range w/ the others. FYI...the package I got is Motorola PhoneTools....the software is not 100% 710 friendly, but free auto downloads will help perfect the cooperation between the phone/computer

Back to the leather case, is this a slip case that just holsters the phone or is it one of those sandwich types that acts as a protective sleeve for the phone?
This photo is inconclusive:
I'm looking for a simple case that just holsters the phone......not a condom that protects it.
Which one do we have here?
TIA

If they had a swivel on the damn plastic holster that comes with the 710 I'd be all set. I'll just wait for one......has to come eventually

It appears that the T720 and V710 will use the same chargers and data cable. I questioned the salesperson, and he said that it is true.
I have the data cable from the T720, but I don't know if the software will work with the V710. I should have the phone by Friday, and will try a MS Outlook to V710 contact load.
I'll report back with my findings.
Regards,

This also means that the exposed copper connectors will still be prone to getting dirty and needing scrubbing from an old toothbrush and some contact spray every three months too
As for the software, the 720's bundle is not compatible with the710. Need PhoneTools. The cable will work, not the software.

I'll get a hold of the software this weekend. My V710 *should* arrive tomorrow according to Verizon.
